Car Review, Car Sales | Nissan GT-R 530, the ride of Sachin Tendulkar, India 2011 - Cricket god Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar’s Ferrari 360 was in the news just yesterday when the batting maestro sold off the iconic supercar to a Surat based businessman. Now, Sachin has already bought a brand new ride, a Nissan GT0R 530, which while packing in plenty of power simply cannot match the sheer snob value a Ferrari brings with it. The Nissan GT-R 530 was imported from Dubai a fortnight ago, sold by Dubai based Arabian Automobiles.

Apparently, the Ferrari 360 was sold by Sachin because the car’s low ground clearance proved to be a major deterrent on Mumbai roads, and Sachin being a driving enthusaist found it difficult to drive the car around, which prompted him to go for the Nissan GT-R 530, whose relatively higher ground clearance means that the master blaster can fully enjoy the 530 Bhp power output from the six cylinder twin turbo engine of the four wheel drive Nissan GT-R.

Coming to the Nissan GT-R 530, the car is powered by a 4.4 Liter twin turbo V6 engine good for a peak power of 530 Bhp at 6,400 rpm and a peak torque of 612 Nm all the way from3,200 to 6,000rpm. All this power and torque, when mated to one of the world’s most advanced all wheel drive system means that the Godzilla will hurtle past 100 kph in a heart pumping 3 seconds, which is ridiculously fast even by Supercar standards. The car is almost exclusively built with one aim in mind, to top the Nurburgring lap record.

The German Nurburgring circuit is the sport holy PF grains around the world without compromise that the circuit is the German ideal testing ground for both brute force and superlative handling. Oh yes, the Nissan GT-R 530 recording made at around the Nurburgring with a sparkling 7 minutes 24 seconds lap times, which is two seconds faster than the best previous complete. Now it's a timing thing that strikes both the best and ZR1 two Porsche 911 GT3 RS cave. All for just under $ 90 000. So Sachin Tendulkar last trip less flashy than the red Ferrari, but when it comes to pure performance, it is right there. - CAR REVIEW
